I usually compare new bands to greater bands who are among the best in the world, but not Bastille. They are completely fresh with their electric beat, which really enthralls the listener. Their new track
Bad Blood is their best one. Frontman Dan Smith has some of the best vocals I've heard in a while, and this song is like Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto album, except it is better. On hearing Coldplay's latest album, I really disliked it as it was light years away from the previous albums, but Bastille have been very original and managed to avoid most critics (not me) of being labelled "The next generic Coldplay". Anyway, Bastille are ones definitely to look out for, and
Bad Blood is top of the pile.
