Savages-Husbands

I've discovered many, many bands in 2012, with the newest one I've checked out being Savages. Savages remind me a little of Funeral Party, with more thrash. The track Husbands is released this week, and front woman Jehnny Beth whispers through this track with the odd screech from her. Savages are the first all girl rock band that I can think of, who have made a great breakthrough. Husbands is a decent song, but it is missing something. For one, it is so repetitive that at some points in the song I wish I could drown the noise out with Nicki Minaj (yes I said it) and secondly it is messy at parts. I feel that Savages definitely have a great future, I just think they will forget about this song when they look to the future.
