As most people know, I don't really like Tulisa's music, and her new song
Live It Up hardly makes my opinion of her improve. At first hearing the verse I thought "Shit I'm going to like this song" and the song had potential, until the chorus came. There was no clear indication when the verse ended and the chorus started and with the chorus usually being the strongest part, I was disappointed. I mean, I'll be honest, it's my favourite Tulisa track - as it has a bit of a similarity to
Alexandra Burke-Don't Let Me Start Without You and having Tyga on this track made it slightly more bearable
- but the structure is poor. It's a shame that when she finally does something right by having a good beat, she also does something wrong by having a poorly planned "song".
