They always say "never meet your heroes", but I have never heard of anyone talking about murdering them - except from rock band
Awolnation. They release their third single
Kill Your Heroes from their debut album
Megalithic Symphony. It took them a while to get a record deal (when I say a while, I mean over a decade) and it is hard to see why. There has been a great hype about the likes of
Imagine Dragons, and with a similar electro-rock sound, it's hard to see how the likes of this happy, alternative song can't be successful. It's even backed with a cool keyboard sound to add to the niceness of this song. With the band name and song title I was certainly ready for a riot band, but I was tricked. At least now I know not to judge a book by its cover.
