There has been an increase in the number of female solo artists in recent years, especially in the soul area. So what makes New York girl
Kristina Train any different from
Jessie Ware or
Lana Del Rey? Well, not too much. Her new single
Lose You Tonight more than deserves to be on a love compilation CD, as it has the perfect ingredients for a decent romantic song, but then the similarities kick in. Although currently, there is no one that matches her style, she sounds too much like artists such as
Celine Dion, which isn't all bad, it just means there is nothing new. Although this song is enjoyable, it has to be put as bland. Great talent but she still seems to be finding her niche market.
