I think it's fair to say now after another poor album that
Evanescence will never be as great as they used to be back in the days where they recorded their most popular album
Fallen. I say this because their new single
Lost In Paradise is uninspiring and lacks in being different. As much as a few of their songs are beautiful when using the piano, I think vocalist
Amy Lee should stick to a heavier sound as this song seems light years away from classic Evanescence. The song doesn't even kick in until two minutes and it just painfully drags through to a suffering end, leaving me bored and unchanged. If you feel this is the best they have made, there's the door.
