I have never heard of London band
Life In Film (probably due to the fact that they didn't make the public eye until mid 2012) and heard of their new single
Cold Wire being released this week. At first I wasn't sure what to think about it, and I almost mistaked it for generic indie, but then I released how addictive them hooks are as they really mesmerise a good old song from
The Cure whilst sounding different enough to other bands to not be labelled "a rip off". This band could be hit or miss, so we'll see soon how they get on this year.
Rating: 7/10
