A few months ago,
Mikky Ekko was fairly unknown, but he got a breakthrough on R&B singer
Rihanna's recent single
Stay. He is now doing what collaborators do best, and that is releasing their own music when they have made it. His single
Pull Me Down is quite a slow indie pop record, but despite it being listenable, it's missing something. There is no doubt his name will become big soon, but the Louisiana singer-songwriter doesn't produce any wondrous moments on this track. I think with a bit of tweaking he'll be a star, but right now, nothing too special.
