Girls Aloud's return was a little disappointing, not living up to the days of
Love Machine and
Biology, but they've written a competent Christmas song, due for release this week and will chart tomorrow. Their single
Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me sounded like it would be pretty poor, plastic pop, but it seems to be a little more special than that. Often-overshadowed ginger member
Nicola Roberts pulls off a stunning performance in this song, showing exactly why she has the best voice in the group. However, apart from her spearheading the song, there isn't much more to it and the voices just blend, becoming a bit messy. Still lovely stuff from the girl group.
