Nevada rockers The Killers seem to have matured quite a bit since their intergalactic album Day & Age. In four years they have been on hiatus, grown up, had children and came back with some pretty good tunes. Their third single from fourth album Battle Born is slower and would give most love songs a run for their money. Of course, it is their romance single Here With Me. Brandon Flowers pours his heart out in this song about a break-up with lyrics like "Don't want your picture on my cell phone" as he tries to recover from missing someone and reminisces of all the good times "Spent the summer just layin' out in the sun/Time seems to move so slowly, when you're taking it as it comes". It's a lovely song and it fits perfectly with this time of year, which is full of love and heartbreaks. They may have taken criticism for this album, but it is just as good as some of the older stuff.
